First Trip of 2012
We had our first trip of the 2012 whitewater rafting season on January 20. Rainy Day Rafting on the French Broad River
Many people don’t want to go rafting on the French Broad River when it’s raining. But it can be some of the most beautiful time on the river. The mist rolling through the mountains is spectacular. When our guests get back from these trips they are so excited. The rain adds a whole new dimension to a rafting trip. It does help to be dressed for it though. Flow’s First Birthday
What started out as just a normal (if there is such a thing) day of whitewater rafting on the French Broad River turned into a rescue operation for Sandy and her crew of intrepid rafters. Noticing something odd on a rock in the river, Sandy and crew paddled over to investigate only to discover a stranded puppy shivering and whimpering. Only one thing to do of course. Save the puppy!
